Nina Ristuccia, JockeyNina is a fiery woman jockey with a fierce welt of pride and a short temper. Tiny, wiry, and surprisingly strong, she'll pick a fight with anyone and anything just because she can. She considers herself incredibly unlucky in that, for some reason, James Atkinson seems to have decided on her as a favorite among jockeys and will actively seek her out. She's considered changing her name and moving to a different country altogether just to avoid him, but she will ride his horses on occasion just because she liked Frank.

Lucas Stone, Exercise Rider/Bug BoyLuke had a conundrum: he was really short. He couldn't figure out how to go through his life without being teased about it until someone jokingly suggested when he was fourteen that he become a jockey. So he learned how to ride, and just recently came of racing age. He finds himself the main exercise rider for Shamrock almost completely by happenstance, but with his scrappy personality, boyish good looks, and usual mischievous smile, has found himself a sort of regular gig with James and Wingo. A bright young whippersnapper with eyes full of daydreams, no one's quite sure how Luke's going to turn out yet.
