Cali is an equine Houdini. Seemingly able to undo any lock or rope created by mankind, this little filly is a troublemaker of epic proportions. As long as you make sure that she's out of harm's way (and safely behind locks she hasn't yet figured out!) she's a sweet little filly with a nose for tricks... and treats! On the ground, she can and will get into anything and everything she can possibly stick her nose into - which lands her in all sorts of trouble. She's seems fascinated by pockets, and if there are any on any part of your clothing you should expect her to stick her nose into them. On occasion, she can be a little too rough in her advances, and will accidentally give you a little nip or nudge you too sharply. Mostly, this is a result of her young age and the fact that she doesn't quite understand that she's not person-sized. A definite lap horse.

Racing Style:

Cali's only green-broke, and shows her inexperience a lot on the racecourse. Though she's kind of familiar with the gate, she doesn't like to go in it and usually doesn't like to break well. She doesn't really understand competition, either. When she sees the other horses beside her, she mostly wants to be friends with them, not race them. Luckily, the jockey can keep her somewhat focused with a little direction. Giver her social tendencies, she loves to run in the middle of the pack and doesn't mind close pressing or miss a beat when boxed in. She doesn't understand how to get out of jams yet, so she needs close direction to weave her way through the pack. She doesn't have a strong stretch drive, and when she takes the lead it will be towards the middle of the race, and likely with a break-away group because she doesn't like running solo. She doesn't tend to win by large margins - being out alone in the front isn't her gig.
